Minor in Public Policy & Administration
The Public Policy & Administration minor provides the foundation for students to analyze the political,
economic and quantitative aspects of how public agencies function and attempt to address significant social problems. Students can further tailor the minor to explore public problem-solving in different policy areas and in local, national or international contexts.
Students seeking to prepare for graduate study leading toward a Master of Public Administration (MPA) or Public Policy (MPP) degree are strongly encouraged to meet with the minor coordinator as early as possible. Students who complete the minor may be eligible to apply for the joint BA/MPA program between SUNY Potsdam and Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at SUNY Albany.
