The session will be based in a computer lab. It will include an introduction to the benefits and professional uses of LinkedIn and an overview of other personal branding platforms. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice the new techniques they learned and work on revising/building their profiles.
- Students who participate in the workshop will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the perks of digital branding.
- Students will learn how they can network, make connections, conduct industry or company research, apply for opportunities, and increase marketability through an introduction to the LinkedIn platform.
- Students will be able to understand the difference between traditional marketing and digital marketing.
