Session Description:

Are you considering going to grad school? Join us to learn about the application process for graduate studies and how to market your qualifications to committees. You will have a more comprehensive understanding on topics including graduate studies decision making, how to search for opportunities, the application process, financial aid, obtaining references, tips for admission and exam preparation, and how to develop a personal statement and curriculum vitae. Come and learn about ways you can promote your skills and experiences to become a more attractive candidate for graduate school. Hosted by: Karen Kus, Career Coach, & Josh La Fave, Executive Director of Graduate and Continuing Education 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will learn about the application process for graduate studies and how to market their qualifications to prospective committees.
  • Participants will develop a more comprehensive understanding on topics including graduate studies decision making, how to search for opportunities, the application process, financial aid, obtaining references, tips for admission and exam preparation, and how to develop a personal statement and curriculum vitae.
