Session Description:
This group is for students who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and difficulty with stress management. This semi-structured group meeting will provide a variety of relaxation and coping skills. Each session will provide some education about stress and anxiety as well as provide a supportive environment for students who are dealing with similar issues. Members will be provided the time to practice skills during session.
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will gain an understanding of the mind/body connection.
- Students will gain comfort in discussing stress and anxiety with others.
- Students will learn symptoms of stress and anxiety.
- Students may find a connection with others on campus who have similar stress responses.
