SUNY Potsdam has cancelled classes beginning at 2 p.m. for today, Wednesday, March 14, 2018

All afternoon classes beginning at 2 p.m. or later have been cancelled at SUNY Potsdam for today, Wednesday, March 14, due to inclement weather.

This also affects all SUNY Potsdam classes held in Watertown at the SUNY Jefferson campus.

Several campus events and activities are also being rescheduled or cancelled due to weather today:

  • PACES Dining Services will close its locations early today, due to the weather:
    • Minerva’s Café will close at 1 p.m.
    • Becky’s Place, the Performing Arts Café and the Crane Commons will all close at 3 p.m.
    • Lehman Dining Center will remain open from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
    • The Union Dining Court will close at 8 p.m., with no late-night service.
  • The Shamrock 5K Run/Walk scheduled for today will now be held next Wednesday, March 21 at 4 p.m., leaving from Maxcy Hall.
  • The Crane Jazz Band concert originally scheduled for tonight at SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music will now be held on Monday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Hosmer Hall.
  • The Family Literacy Night "Paws for Books" event scheduled for this evening at the Sheard Literacy Center will also be rescheduled. It will now be held on Wednesday, March 21 at 6 p.m. Additionally, the Bears Literacy Club has been cancelled this afternoon.
  • All Center for Lifelong Education and Recreation (CLEAR) non-credit classes scheduled for this afternoon and evening will be cancelled. Make-up classes will be rescheduled with each instructor.
