SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will host the 2016 Potsdam Clarinet Summit on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17, featuring a number of outstanding visiting clarinet artists from across the United States.
Community Performance Series will present an incredible array of artistry with its 2016-17 season. Genres in their Guest Artist Series and Meet the Arts Series include Broadway classics, folk, post-modern classical, percussion, jazz and family theatre.

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will officially open the 2016-17 academic year with the annual Faculty Gala, on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall.
Dr. Brian K. Doyle, the director of bands at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, is set to be inducted into the American Bandmasters Association. Dr. Doyle was recently invited to join the ranks of this prestigious organization, which includes 300 band conductors and composers in the United States and Canada.
Potsdam Music Theatre, a program of the Community Performance Series, is seeking volunteers for its 2016 summer musical productions of “Mary Poppins” and “Ring of Fire” at SUNY Potsdam.
