Freshmen and Sophomores FY 215: Major and Career Exploration
This course is designed to assist students in the exploration of majors and careers. It focuses on methods to design and implement long and short-term career goals and maximize career readiness and success. The course will include and utilize career development theory to aid students in understanding their own career exploration and planning processes. Students will be exposed to a variety of assessments, activities, and discussion topics. Sessions will focus on career and life management skills to prepare students to make sound decisions about their future. This 1 credit course is offered in the Fall and Spring.
Juniors and Seniors INTD 470: Career Development Strategies
This course allows students to set objectives, research occupations and graduate schools, identify industry outlooks, and delve into their career interests. It is designed to assist students in making informed vocational and educational decisions and help increase their self-marketability. This upper-division course is particularly aimed at Juniors and Seniors who are prepared to examine the depths of their desired careers and devise strategies to attain career goals. It is open to students from an array of disciplines. This 1 credit course is offered in the Fall and Spring.
