Undergraduates at SUNY Potsdam are encouraged to obtain extra experience in their chosen field by doing off-campus internships. Opportunities in the Field
SUNY Potsdam Mathematics graduates are employed by companies such as Aetna, AT&T, IBM, General Electric, Kodak, the National Security Agency and Hewlett Packard. Others have received assistantships and fellowships at reputable universities. Many have earned Ph.D. degrees in mathematics or statistics.
