WILD 240  - Backpacking 2Cr. (PE)

Introduction to Leave No Trace camping skills, clothing /equipment selection and use, food planning/expedition nutrition, map interpretation, are among topics covered.  Culminates in a four-day backpacking trip.  Students will simultaneously earn (1) physical education equivalent and (2) academic credits through successful completion of this course.
