MMIWG2S March

Native American women are 10 times more likely to be murdered than all other races. 5,712 is the number of known cases in 2016 for missing or murdered Native American women, but only 116 cases were recorded by the Department of Justice. Join us in solidarity by wearing RED and marching to spread awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & 2 Spirit people (MMIWG2S). The event will start with a showing of a film at the Black Box Theater, followed by a march through campus, ending at Lehman park with a meal provided.
