Internal Controls Program

SUNY Potsdam is committed to a strong internal controls program.

SUNY Internal Controls Program

Reporting

All members of the SUNY Potsdam community are expected to promptly report any known or suspected fraud, irregularities or misconduct. Following the SUNY Policy on Fraud and Irregularities, the College encourages anyone with information about alleged improper behavior to file a report.

All reports can be made anonymously. Reports sent to SUNY Potsdam will be investigated by the College's internal controls officer and ethics officers (see contact information below).

File reports here:

In all cases, please provide as much detail as possible regarding your specific concerns, along with relevant information. You are not required to provide identifying information; however, the inclusion of a name and contact information would allow authorities to follow up, should additional questions arise.

All information will be treated as confidential, to the extent permitted by law. Retaliation against anyone who has made a good faith report is strictly prohibited under New York State law and SUNY policy. However, the intentional use of these processes to make false allegations could result in disciplinary actions.
