Residence Halls

The residence halls at SUNY Potsdam are a “home-away-from-home” for nearly 2,300 students. The residence hall program strives to provide students with a safe and fun environment in which they can attain academic success and grow into their future selves.


Campus living provides:

  • A wide variety of building types and special interest housing programs like our First Year Experience (FYE) program, Outdoor Activity House, Gender Neutral housing, Substance-free, and Study Intensive.

  • A living environment where the cleanliness of the halls and safety are a priority. The Residence Halls feature an electronic key-less entry system for building access and a thorough fire safety awareness program.
