Our Mission:
Emerging Leaders are committed
and motivated students who seek to develop their leadership skills and give back to
SUNY Potsdam. We promote student philanthropy and
volunteerism with a focus on enhancing SUNY Potsdam.
Our Vision:
Emerging Leaders will become well-known throughout campus for their dedication to leadership development as well as their service and philanthropy toward SUNY Potsdam.
3 Goals of the Emerging Leaders Program
- Develop leadership among its members
- Cultivate a love of the College among the student population through planning and implementing service projects designed to enhance SUNY Potsdam
- Organize initiatives to help foster student giving to the College through annual student gifts
Meeting Time/Locations:
Emerging Leaders meets every Tuesday that school is in session at 6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Lounge (located on the second floor of the Barrington Student Union)
Emerging Leaders Information
All interested students must attend a Mandatory Information Session where they will have an opportunity to learn more about the program, meet some current members and complete an application to be considered as a participant. The Mandatory Information Session will take place on Tuesday, September 20th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Student Union Fireside Lounge.
