Life is about choices and academic life at SUNY Potsdam is no different.

You can choose from more than 40 majors and 40 minors, and we offer both bachelor's degrees and master's degrees.

Among these classic academic pursuits you'll find interdisciplinary programs that seamlessly converge courses from several different departments, such as Criminal Justice or Women's & Gender Studies.

We also offer programs that incorporate cross-registering with other local colleges that provide a unique educational experience for students who want to maximize their years in academia. See Engineering (3/2 with Clarkson).

Outside the classroom, don't forget to expand your horizons with internships, volunteerism and several other academic initiatives tailored to your interests and designed to help you succeed.

We take pride in the quality of our programs and the students who choose them.
