NCMEP 2017 Summer Early Childhood Educator Vacancy

The Research Foundation for SUNY, a private, not-for-profit corporation, is seeking one (1) full-time summer position for St. Lawrence County as an Early Childhood Specialist for the North Country Migrant Education Program. We are looking to add an energetic, qualified person to our dedicated staff. The successful candidate will visit eligible migrant preschool families to assess needs, work with migrant families in-home once or twice a week on school readiness activities, and provide advocacy to families as needed. BA degree in the area of education or human services, NYS Teacher Certification or Teachers Assistant Certification and experience with teaching using Common Core Learning Standards are preferred. $16.25/hr.
