Alumni & Friends Invited to Join SUNY Potsdam for Fun-Filled Reunion from July 12 to 17
SUNY Potsdam is preparing to welcome alumni and friends back to campus for its first in-person Reunion since 2019. Alumni from all class years are invited to return for this year’s festivities, which will be held on campus from Thursday, July 14, to Sunday, July 17. Virtual events and engagement opportunities will also be available on July 12 and 13.
Community Performance Series Returns to Summer Musical Performances with Production of ‘Once Upon a Mattress’
Community Performance Series will present a production of the musical comedy “Once Upon a Mattress” this summer at SUNY Potsdam. The show will run from Thursday, July 14 through Sunday, July 17, with five show times, in the Proscenium Theater, located in SUNY Potsdam’s Performing Arts Center.
Work by Crane School of Music Composer Performed by Major Orchestras in Los Angeles
Dr. Ivette Herryman Rodriguez, an assistant professor of music composition and theory at The Crane School of Music is making waves this summer in Los Angeles! Her composition, “Un Danzón a Mi Manera (A Danzón Done My Way),” has already been performed on stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall by the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles under the baton of renowned music director Gustavo Dudamel. It will be featured two more times by the Los Angeles Philharmonic this summer, on stage at the Hollywood Bowl.
