Middle and High School Students to Explore Careers in STEM Fields at SUNY Potsdam

SUNY Potsdam is hosting approximately 600 middle and high school students from across the North Country and even from New York City this fall, for the College’s Careers in STEM Events, sponsored by Arconic. Students will get the chance to choose from hands-on activities, learning from faculty and students in SUNY Potsdam’s programs in science, technology, mathematics and the health sciences.

Crane School of Music Honors Music of Gregoria Karides Suchy in Centennial Concerts

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will honor the music of composer Gregoria Karides Suchy in a special concert series this fall, marking what would have been her 100th birthday. Crane will host “The Music of Gregoria Karides Suchy – A Centennial Celebration” throughout the month of November, with a series of six concerts. All of the concerts are free, and the public is invited to attend.

The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its second meeting of the 2023-24 academic year on Friday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m., in the Raymond Hall eighth floor dining room. The meeting will be open to the public, and will stream live online via Teams.
