SUNY Potsdam Rated in Top 50 Master’s Universities in U.S. by Washington Monthly Magazine

Washington Monthly has ranked The State University of New York at Potsdam at No. 47 in the country in its national master’s universities ratings, in the magazine’s 2023 College Guide, released today. Since the rankings were first created 18 years ago, SUNY Potsdam has continually climbed the list.  SUNY Potsdam was among the top 8 percent of national master’s universities rated this year, coming out at No. 47 out of all 604 institutions on the list, and No. 34 among the public colleges listed.

CTS Training Opportunity on MS Teams

CTS will be holding a training on MS Teams on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. in the Raymond 8th floor Dining Room. This training will prepare for the migration from Helios3 toTeams. Topics will include how to create and manage a Team, how to add and move files and folders, how to restrict access to channels within Teams to specific users, and how to move Banner files from the Banner Files server to a Team.

Nominations for Emerging Leaders

The goal of Emerging Leaders is to provide students who have demonstrated strong leadership potential with an opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and help promote student giving and volunteerism at SUNY Potsdam.   The Emerging Leaders program provides students with an opportunity for involvement throughout their time at Potsdam and as such is an excellent way for students to meet new people, develop their leadership skills, and network with student leaders, faculty/staff and alumni. 

The Crane School of Music Opens New Academic Year with Faculty Gala

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music will officially open the 2023-24 academic year with the annual Faculty Gala, on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen M. Hosmer Concert Hall. The performance will also stream live online, at potsdam.edu/cranelive.
