SUNY Potsdam & Universidad de Cienfuegos Sign Memorandum of Agreement
Representatives from The State University of New York at Potsdam and La Universidad de Cienfuegos recently signed a memorandum of agreement formalizing their educational partnership in a ceremony at the Cuban university campus.
Washburn Rehearsal Room Dedication
There will be a dedication to the Robert & Beverly Washburn Rehearsal Room (currently C143 in Crane – off the main lobby) on Friday, April 21 at 4 p.m. The donor, Brooks Washburn, will be in attendance, along with members of the Alumni and Foundation Boards.
Sexual Assault Awareness Day
Center for Diversity, Student Health, Title IX and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee are sponsoring Sexual Assault Awareness Day on Wednesday, April 19. Show your support and wear the color teal! There will be a Health, Wellness and Safety Expo in Barrington Student Union from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Take a walk for Yards for Yeardley from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., registration will be held at Minerva statue. And lastly there will be a Dating Violence Presentation at the Union Fireside Lounge from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Retirement Celebration for Officer-in-Charge Dr. Phil Neisser
A reception in honor of Officer-in-Charge Dr. Phil Neisser ’79 will be held on Thursday, April 13, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Fireside Lounge in recognition of his many years of service to SUNY Potsdam and his leadership of the institution over the past year. Cake and beverages will be served.

The WISER Center is hosting a Free Plants for Departments and Offices Event on Wednesday, April 19. Starting at 12 p.m., they will be offering ½ hour care and plant giveaway sessions and having them each half hour until all the plants are gone. Attending a 10 minute session on plant care qualifies you to get free plants for your Campus Office or department (limit 2/person). Be sure to come early to have your pick of the plants!
