The Financial Aid Office is committed to helping you identify the financial resources for which you may be eligible. Our staff will assist you and your family in developing financial plans to pay for an extraordinary future investment  - your college education!

Office hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Holiday Closures:  The Financial Aid Office will be closed on the following dates in December and January:

  • SUNY Financial Aid Day 2012
    Registration and General Information is now available for parents and students who wish to attend the SUNY Financial Aid Day (PDF) held at SUNY Potsdam on Saturday, January 21st, 2012.
  • The 2012 Winterim Aid Application is now available!
  • The Summer 2012 application will be available in mid-April.
  • For ALL parent loan applicants, the Process to Apply for a Federal Direct Parent Loan has changed!
  • For all loan applicants, please use our Checklist to complete any required processes to secure your loan.
  • Parent PLUS Loan deferment: Interested in deferring repayment of your Parent PLUS Loan until graduation? Download/view our Parent Loan Deferment (PDF). 
  • Expecting a refund?  Refunds are processed by the Student Accounts Office on the 4th floor of Raymond Hall.
  • Travel Course: To request financial aid for a travel course, you must register for the course, and submit a budget adjustment form (available on BearPAWS) with your professor's estimated budget for the trip.
