Minor in Musical Theatre
The Musical Theatre minor may be pursued by students who have declared a major in music, theatre, or dance. Students in those majors will follow the track within the minor which is designated for their major.
The minor may not be completed without acceptance through the audition/interview process. The audition/interview will include a short monologue, a song, an example of movement, and a conversation with faculty. Auditions/interviews will be scheduled in February each year, with criteria for acceptance clearly defined. The audition/interview panel will consist of one faculty member from each area: theatre, dance, and music.
