Why This Week Matters
Last year we raised a generous amount and were able to make a donation to the Prometheus Food Pantry. Every year, the SUNY Educational Opportunity Program dedicates a week of service in honor of our founder, Arthur O’Eve. Across SUNY campuses, EOP students give back to their communities as a way of showing gratitude for the opportunities we’ve been given. EOP exists because someone believed in our potential, even when the path to college didn’t always seem clear. Many of us were given a second chance to pursue higher education, and this week of service is our way of saying thank you, by supporting and uplifting the communities that continue to support us.
