Literacy Learning in Action Workshop: Engaging Activities to Boost Literacy

This workshop is sponsored by the St. Lawrence Valley Teacher Learning Center and is open to all education students. It is part of a Literacy Learning in Action Workshop series that will be held throughout the academic year. Participants will include SUNY Potsdam students and staff, as well as local teachers! Fill your teaching toolbox with fun and effective literacy activities! This workshop will include hands-on practice with a variety of literacy games and activities that support phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. You'll leave with a packet of resources and ideas to engage students in meaningful, fun literacy practice.
