Traditional Moccasin Making Series
Guided by Marlana Thompson Baker
The 4-part class series will guide participants through making a traditional, beaded pair of moccasins. Attendance at all 4 classes is necessary to complete this project. Classes will be Mondays and Thursdays for 2 weeks starting April 13, 2026. All classes will be 5-9pm and held in HEARTH.
First Class: Monday, April 13, 5-9pm; Start Design and Bead Vamps
Second Class: Thursday, April 16, 5-9pm; Start Leather Work
Third Class: Monday, April 20, 5-9pm; Continue Leather Work
Fourth Class: Thursday, April 23, 5-9pm; Trim Bead Cuff and Attach Vamps to Mocs
All leather, sinew, and beading materials are provided at no cost.
