Student Deliverables

Review your course assignments, projects, quizzes, etc.  You’ll need to evaluate which activities already work online, which need modification to work, and which will need to be completely reconceived. As you transition student deliverables to a remote format, consider the workflow between you and the student. In some way, each deliverable must be assigned, completed (i.e. the student does the work), submitted, graded, and the result shared.

Moodle is designed to facilitate all steps in this process using activities and the gradebook. However, you may choose to manage all, part, or none of this process within Moodle, since other remote tools are available (e.g. email, excel spreadsheet, etc.)

Also, as you reconceptualize how you will assess student learning, be attentive to giving students comparable amounts of work, not more.  That includes not only the amount of work but also how complicated it will be for the student to accomplish that work.
