Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Vacancy

The Division of College Advancement is accepting on-line applications for an Assistant Director of Alumni Relations. The Assistant Director is charged with coordination of regional alumni volunteers and events, assisting in the planning of the College’s Reunion Weekend, facilitating electronic communications to alumni, as well as overseeing the College’s annual LoKo Arts Festival.

The Assistant Director will bring an abiding commitment to public education with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, writing skills, flexibility, professionalism, the ability to manage multiple events and projects, and meet goals and deadlines. Experience working with both on and off campus constituents is preferred. Must be available for evening and weekend work, as well as travel. SUNY Potsdam alumni are encouraged to apply. 

Required qualifications: Completed bachelor’s degree by date of hire; exceptional written, oral communication, problem solving skills, technological proficiency in word processing, email, web, and database environments, and commitment to the College’s efforts in support of inclusivity and diversity.
