The Athletics Department is accepting on-line applications for a full-time Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Track & Field Coach to begin September 1, 2018.
Responsibilities include teaching skills appropriate to intercollegiate varsity competition, recruiting potential student athletes, budget preparation and control, monitoring academic and social performance for all competitors, adherence to NCAA rules and regulations, and campus policy and procedures. In addition, the person in this position will be expected to have communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues and who have demonstrated a commitment to creating, fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom. Prior Coaching experience preferred. We are, especially, seeking candidates who have worked with, done research with, or taught under-represented groups and have worked collaboratively across various departments in fostering success of underrepresented groups.
