Campus Life is requesting nominations for Omicron Delta Kappa (O∆K), the National Leadership Honor Society. O∆K is a society that recognizes and encourages superior leadership and exemplary character. It would be tremendously helpful with recruiting efforts if names could be provided of any people you believe have the potential to be a member of this organization. They are looking for candidates who have strong skills in leadership, communication, organization, administrative tasks and helping others.
Nominations must be undergraduate students who are juniors or seniors (sophomores and first years are not eligible), graduate and professional students, faculty, staff, administrators, or alumni who graduated more than five years ago.
Members are expected to demonstrate the five O∆K ideals:
· Scholarship
· Service
· Integrity
· Character
· Fellowship
If you would like to nominate someone, please e-mail their name to Kelsey Sixberry (sixberke@potsdam.edu), at your earliest convenience. Any person who you nominate will receive an e-mail from O∆K encouraging them to consider applying to become a member. We would greatly appreciate it if you could e-mail the names of the people you wish to nominate no later than Friday, Feb. 14.
