This free event will take place on Wednesday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m., in the Performing Arts Center’s Dance Theatre on the SUNY Potsdam campus.

SUNY Potsdam’s Department of Theatre & Dance is proud to host the critically acclaimed Aquila Theatre company as they present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare. This free, one night only performance will take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the Proscenium Theater—located inside SUNY Potsdam’s Performing Arts Center.

Department of Elementary Education, part of the School of Education and Professional Studies, is accepting on-line applications for a full-time, tenure-track program coordinator to support offerings of their full-time Childhood/ Early Childhood Education program (Birth-6th) at the Jefferson Community College location in Watertown, NY. As a program coordinator, the position is a ten-month employment; it is likely that additional summer duties will also be expected. The applicant will have a leading role in the full implementation of this program.

SUNY Potsdam to Mark 210 Years with Charter Day Celebration
The State University of New York at Potsdam will celebrate the 210th anniversary of its founding with special Charter Day events on Wednesday, March 25. Originally founded as the St. Lawrence Academy, the institution known today as SUNY Potsdam marked its official beginning when its charter was signed in Albany on March 25, 1816—making it one of America’s first 50 colleges. Today, it remains the oldest institution within the State University of New York.
