Due to the new social spacing directives and the staffing limitations we are faced with, SUNY Potsdam is restricting public access to most campus buildings until further notice, out of safety and staffing concerns. This includes the Crane School of Music Complex.
Crane students who are returning to campus to collect their belongings and who need to retrieve personal musical instruments and/or return sheet music or other items are welcome to do this week. The Hosmer Hall lobby entrance will be open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, until Saturday, March 21. Students will be able to drop off ensemble parts and other items in the Hosmer lobby and retrieve materials from their lockers. Crane-owned instruments should be returned to the proper lockers.
In order to protect everyone’s health, everyone is urged to sanitize item surfaces where applicable, frequently wash their hands and practice proper social distancing. The complex will be closed to both students and the public beginning on Sunday, March 22.
