Drone Show

As the grand finale of SUNY Potsdam’s public launch celebrations for Deeply Rooted, Future Focused: The Campaign for Potsdam, the Festival of Lights will culminate with a spectacular custom drone show over campus.

At 8 p.m., 200 drones will rise up to 400 feet above the Lougheed Center, creating animated formations inspired by beloved SUNY Potsdam icons. The show will be paired with a custom soundtrack performed by Crane faculty and students, bringing together music, light, tradition and imagination in one shared experience.

Designed as the closing moment of the campaign launch celebration, the drone show will reflect the spirit of Deeply Rooted, Future Focused by celebrating the traditions, people and places that define SUNY Potsdam while looking ahead to the College’s future.
