SUNY Potsdam Alumni Photo Contest

Show your Potsdam Pride by posting a picture in your SUNY Potsdam apparel or with memorabilia! All alumni who participate are eligible to win a grand prize!
Submissions are accepted Monday, September 13 to Wednesday, September 15 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Voting will take place Thursday, September 16 and the contest concludes on Friday, September 17 with an announcement of the winners!
To participate, follow these steps:
- Take a picture wearing SUNY Potsdam apparel or with SUNY Potsdam memorabilia!
- Submit your picture to Facebook and/or Instagram between Monday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 15!
- To submit a photo on Facebook: post photo in comments of the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Photo Contest post or in the private Facebook group
- To submit a photo on Instagram: tag @sunypotsdam.alumni and use #SUNYPotsdamAlum in an Instagram story or DM us a picture
- Vote for your favorite submissions on Thursday, September 16!
- To vote on Facebook: View the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Photo Contest album on the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Facebook page and like/react to your favorite photo!
- To vote on Instagram: View the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Instagram story, which will feature each submission with a number. On the last story slide, type which number you vote for in the question box!
- The winners of the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Photo Contest will be announced on social media on Friday, September 17. The photo on Facebook with the most likes/reactions wins and the photo on Instagram with the most votes in the Instagram story wins.
All participants must agree to and follow these expectations:
- You must be following the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Facebook page and/or the SUNY Potsdam Alumni Instagram. Submissions do not count for Facebook if not following Facebook page and do not count for Instagram if not following Instagram page.
- One submission can be made on both platforms (Facebook and Instagram), but no one is eligible to win both the Facebook and Instagram competition.
- By submitting and tagging us in your photo, you are giving us permission to re-share your photo and consider it for future promotional purposes.
- The winner will receive a direct message on the social media platform that they won on. If they do not respond with their full name, class year, current email and current address within 5 days, the runner-up will be chosen to win the prize.
