WGL Story Slam: Work It Out

Inspired by the HOWL Story Slams hosted by the Adirondack Center for Writing and North Country Public Radio, this event invites WGL mentors, Potsdam alumni, and Potsdam students to share a 5-minute story centered around the following theme, “Work It Out.” Do you have a story about a time you overcame a conflict or issue in the workplace? Was there a time you solved a problem or figured out a solution to a question at work? Maybe you encountered a situation in a role you’ve held that led you to become more resilient. Or maybe you came up with a creative idea at a job you’ve held. We want to hear your story, and welcome any stories that tie into this theme! All are welcome to attend, to either share a story or just listen.
Free food will be provided!
This session is a part of the WGL workshop series. Attend all 5 workshops and be paired with an alumni mentor who is working in your desired career field!
