Appeal Process
An appeal is the process to request a review of the original student conduct outcome. The Referred Party has the right to submit one application for appeal to the Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards. In cases of Sexual Misconduct, both parties have the right to appeal.

Joining TRIO SSS
To apply to TRIO Student Support Services (New Students) To apply to become a SUNY Potsdam TRIO Student Support Services participant, you must complete a SUNY Potsdam TRIO Student Support Services application form and submit it for processing. Application Information
Applications for the Fall 2025 cohort will open on January 2 and can be submitted at any time before the end of April for college students. This will be the final Fall academy, as beginning in January 2026, the academy will shift to an annual Spring semester format, running from January to May. Applications for the annual Spring semester, starting each January, can be submitted at any time but must be received by the end of November.
