Yoojung KimAccompanistkimyj@potsdam.edu Yoojung Kim joined the Crane School of Music as a Collaborative Pianist in Fall of 2012. Prior to Crane, Dr. Kim held positions of Staff Accompanist at Columbus State University (Columbus GA), Music Faculty at Lansing Community College (Lansing MI) and Staff Accompanist at Olivet College (Olivet MI). For many years, she also worked at Howell Public Schools (Howell, MI) as a Choir Accompanist and Music Director's Assistant. During many summers, Dr. Kim taught piano and accompanied choirs at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. She also toured Germany with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp International Choir Ensembles and International Youth Orchestra as an accompanist and a harpsichordist. Dr. Kim earned both Doctoral and Master's degrees in Piano Performance from Michigan State University where she studied with Yong Hi Moon. Her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance is from Kyung-Won University in Seoul Korea where she is originally from. More Info |
