On April 19, SUNY Potsdam will inaugurate Suzanne R. Smith as its eighteenth president. Inauguration festivities will be a time of inspiration and connection. The campus will honor our rich history, which shows us that we are stronger when we move forward, together.

About the President
Dr. Suzanne Smith is SUNY Potsdam's eighteenth president, and joined the campus in April 2023. She was appointed to the position by the SUNY Board of Trustees at the recommendation of Chancellor Dr. John B. King, following a nationwide search.
