The Curriculum Studies M.S. is fully online and emphasizes the design, analysis, and leadership of curriculum initiatives across educational, organizational and community contexts. Students engage in applied learning experiences that integrate research-based practices from fields such as curriculum theory, learning sciences, assessment, instructional leadership, and educational technology. All theory is coupled with real-world application, and students develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum projects in authentic settings. Note: The Curriculum Studies M.S. program does not lead to professional licensure for educators.

This process includes:
- aligning curricula with standards and learning theories.
- integrating evidence-based instructional practices.
- evaluating the effectiveness of curriculum initiatives.
Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively about how curriculum can shape learning, foster innovation and advance equity in professional, organizational and community-based environments, reflecting the importance of curriculum in lifelong learning.
