B.S. in Digital Arts Management

The Digital Arts Management program addresses the rapid expansion of the digital creative economy to prepare students for positions in arts organizations such as museums, theaters, galleries and studios. This program addresses a gap in traditional arts management programs by integrating digital production, data information, and technology, including design, marketing, technology and management. The Digital Arts Management major prepares students for the industry through internships and hands-on experience, positioning them as creators and decision makers from day one.


 

Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • develop audience-centered digital, visual, and interactive communications that incorporate professional standards and artistic practice for arts organizations.
  • analyze the needs and perspectives of multiple stakeholders, including considerations of equity and inclusion, within culturally diverse arts management contexts.
  • design strategic marketing and engagement strategies for digital arts organizations that include data-driven analysis and ideation.
  • synthesize information to produce professional documents, including but not limited to grant proposals and strategic plans that support decision-making in digital arts management.
