Departments are compensated for the time that liaisons devote to their duties. The department receives a $250 "maintenance" stipend for each course reviewed by the department liaison during the syllabus review process.
Liaison stipends are transferred to each specific department in one transfer at the end of the academic year from the Registrar's Office. In order to initiate transfers, the Registrar's Office must receive an email confirming the syllabus review has been completed and that the syllabus is accepted. These confirmations on placed on record with the syllabus in Teams.
