Process
- Complete the Course Audit Application Form (PDF) within one week of the first class. The Course Audit Application Form must be signed by the instructor and the department chair.
Mail the completed form to the Register's Office within one week of the first class with payment (if applicable).

Certain academic courses may be audited if space is available and with instructor's permission. An individual may audit up to two courses per semester and may audit the same course only once. The auditing fee is $50 per course, subject to change, and additional fees (lab, technology, athletic, travel, etc.) may apply. Individuals who are 60 years of age or older may audit courses without paying an auditing fee.
Individuals auditing a course are not enrolled in the course and do not appear on the class roster. Auditors do not earn academic credit or any formal recognition. Auditors are not required to meet the requirements of the course, and the instructor is not obligated to evaluate their work in any way.
