How Do I Have Students Give Each Other Feedback/Input?

How Do I Have Students Give Each Other Feedback/Input?

Students can leave comments and feedback in many ways from Moodle forums to Relay comments using Conversations.  Remember, most O365 programs have a Comments option to leave remarks within a shared document. We recommend not encouraging students to comment using email.

How Do I...

Meet Online: Students can meet online on Zoom/Teams to plan, have discussions, and give feedback.

Moodle: The Forum activity is designed to facilitate asynchronous (not at the same time) discussions.  It can also be used to give feedback.

Teams: Using Chat or Channel posts you can have synchronous or asynchronous conversations. They can also be used to give feedback.

Relay/Stream- Both video platforms have tools to leave time-stamped comments within a video.  Relay’s tools are more robust, also allowing for the drawing of simple shapes and arrows.  Regardless, these tools can be used for asynchronous discussion and feedback.

Word/OneNote/PowerPoint- If a student shares an O365 file, other students can use Comments to leave feedback.

Moodle: If the document is uploaded and shared in Moodle, a forum uses comments to leave feedback.

Teams: If the document is uploaded to Teams, students can leave feedback through comments, posts, or direct chat message.
