SUNY Potsdam Graduate Student Wins Award for Best Audio at Rochester’s First 360-Degree Film Festival

SUNY Potsdam graduate student Stephen Ford '26 won honors for best audio at Rochester's first 360-degree film festival, titled Lights, Camera, Planetarium!

SUNY Potsdam graduate student Stephen Ford ’26 of Rochester, N.Y., earned honors for best audio at Lights, Camera, Planetarium!, Rochester's first 360 Film Festival. 

In April, University of Rochester and Studio X hosted their first ever 360-degree film festival at the Strasenburgh Planetarium. Ford, a graduate student in SUNY Potsdam's educational technology specialist program, entered the contest and competed with students and faculty from the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology. He was fortunate enough to win an award for best audio for his project, "Public Art and Murals of Rochester, N.Y." 

SUNY Potsdam's educational technology specialist graduate (MSED) program is a fully online 30-credit-hour program that prepares students to be leaders in K-12 schools. Throughout the course of their studies, students hone their interpersonal and technology skills and work collaboratively, to create and manage highly engaging learning environments.
