The College is accepting on-line applications for a full-time Academic Program Coordinator to support our prison education program located at Riverview Correctional Facility in Ogdensburg, NY. This program currently serves 60 full-time students in the facility and provides a full range of courses toward fulfillment of a Sociology degree over three terms (spring, summer, fall) each year. The college is committed to equity, including people of diverse experiences, and providing re-entry support for students to transition to the Potsdam campus to complete their program upon release.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience (examples: case management working with marginalized people, working with students in a post-secondary institution, advocacy with groups marginalized by systems of oppression).
