Adolescent Outreach Advocate Vacancy

The Research Foundation for SUNY, a private, not-for-profit corporation, seeks a fulltime Adolescent Outreach Advocate for the North Country Migrant Education Program ($17.00/hour beginning immediately, 37.5 hours/week) to assess needs, mentor teens, provide career education, secondary and post-secondary planning, help with after-school programs, recruit for summer programs, and arrange field trips for migrant youth in grades 7-12 in Franklin County, St. Lawrence and Clinton Counties.

Should be able to work some weekends and evenings. B.A. required. The candidate should have experience working with this age group, must be passionate and enthusiastic, and must have a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record and a telephone and answering machine.
