The Athletics Department is accepting on-line applications for full-time, enthusiastic Assistant Athletic Trainer to work alongside the athletic training staff to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries for all SUNY Potsdam intercollegiate athletes.
Daily practice and event coverage, along with travel to away competitions with assigned teams is expected. Other duties include working closely with coaching staff of assigned teams, supervising graduate assistant athletic trainers, assisting with daily operations of the athletic training room, accurate record keeping, ensuring completion of pre-participation requirements, and proper referral to appropriate medical professionals, as well as other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Bachelor’s Degree from a CAATE accredited athletic training education program is required as well as NATABOC certified and be eligible for NYS Licensure, Master’s Degree preferred.
