The Athletics Department is accepting on-line applications for a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer to support the Head Athletic Trainer in evaluating, treating and rehabilitating injuries for all SUNY Potsdam intercollegiate athletes.
Daily practice and event coverage, along with travel to away competitions with assigned teams is expected as well as working closely with coaching staff of assigned teams, supervising graduate assistant athletic trainers, assisting with daily operations of the athletic training room, accurate record keeping, ensuring completion of pre-participation requirements, and proper referral to appropriate medical professionals, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
A Bachelor’s Degree from a CAATE accredited athletic training education program, NATABOC certification, eligibility for NYS Licensure are required. Master’s degree preferred.
