Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management Vacancy

The Business Administration Department is  accepting on-line applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management to begin fall 2019.  As teaching is our primary mission at Potsdam, demonstrated excellence in teaching is vital.

Applicants are expected to teach introductory and advanced courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, advise students, and serve on department and college-wide committees. Teaching responsibilities may include online, hybrid, evening, weekend, and/or off-site course instruction. Tenure line faculty are also expected to conduct research suitable for publication.   Applicants must have, or be nearing completion of, a D.B.A. or Ph.D. in a field related to Human Capital Management, Training, and Development and show evidence of at least two semesters teaching either human resource management, personnel management, human capital management, talent management systems or a similar introductory course. In addition, applicants must show at least three years of relevant work experience and/or effective teaching of undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
