Assistant Professor Vacancy in Physics Department

The Physics department is accepting on-line applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin fall 2019. The position calls for teaching across the full range of standard undergraduate offerings in physics, topical courses to a general audience of undergraduates, research and scholarly activity that furnishes educational opportunities to our physics majors, and assisting in the conduct of the general business of the department and committee activities of the college.

A PhD in physics or closely related field is required. ABDs considered contingent on receipt of PhD imminent. Preferred qualifications include an experimentalist with research related to nanoscience problems and experience in teaching physics to undergraduates and in development of instructional materials and activities.
