Athletics Facilities Director Vacancy

The College is accepting applications for a full-time Senior Staff Assistant (Athletics Facilities Director) who will be the first line liaison between the department, campus and community partners. 

Responsibilities include coordination of event programming, all facility rentals, day-to-day operations, direct oversight of all athletics equipment operations, grounds and facility operations and maintenance, budgeting, and game-day operations and staff.  Additional responsibilities include supporting the athletic director and partnering with assistant athletics directors and coaches on administrative related tasks. Facilities Director reports to the Athletics Director. 

Required Qualifications include:  Demonstrated knowledge of facilities management and operational and fiscal analysis and techniques, ability to take initiative and plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ability to work independently or in a team setting, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:  Three or more years’ experience in facility operations or game operations or administration, higher education athletics programs or Division III athletics program with hockey, Master’s degree in Sport Management or related field.
