The Counseling Center is accepting on-line applications for a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (College Physician Assistant) to serve a diverse, college-aged population.
The NP is responsible for the initial evaluation, formulating the appropriate diagnosis and managing the ongoing treatment plan of each individual. Strong communication skills, an interest in teaching young adults how to manage their health and wellness, and ability to work effectively with other members of the College Counseling Center and Student Health Services are required. NYS license, registered NP ANCC certified in Psychiatric Nursing, and CPR certified are also required. Two years previous psychiatry experience preferred.
